Good Indian food If you like Indian food, one of the best places to go is the restaurant “Balutschistan” (Schulterblatt). It is not the cheapest place but for ten Euros you can get stuffed with Indian delicatessens. As vegetarian you are in heaven here because you are overwhelmed by the variety of choices. My favorite thing to eat is grilled vegetables with seitan, beans and rice. The atmosphere is cozy and it is the perfect venue to meet for a romantic diner. [more]

Restaurant Balutschistan As you can guess from the name this restaurant serves mainly Pakistani food. The list of curries and more is quite extensive and the quality of the food lives up to the smells from the kitchen area. The waitors are charming without exception and the atmosphere is really pleasant. There are several restaurants, I have only visited the ones in Altona and on Grindelberg.
