Restaurant:Villa Maria
This restaurant is one of my favorites in Mexico City. Villa Maria, although pretty expensive, manages to create a lovely Mexican atmosphere, where both locals and tourists can properly enjoy themselves. It's one of those cozy places where you could spend hours without noticing the time passed. They serve typical Mexican food and they prepare it really traditional. In the 4 or 5 hours I spent there, I managed to talk to almost all of the waiters, who were extremely friendly, but altogether, polite. I've also met a group of French tourists, who were backpacking through Mexico. They had been eating at this restaurant for a week, which seemed pretty strange to me, since they were backpackers and the restaurant is slightly expensive, but they said they really loved it, so it was worth the money.
