Trollheimen Mountain Range, diversity and beauty
Trollheimen is an excellent place to experience the best Norway has to offer of both Alpine and lowland character. The three DNT cabins that are central to this area are Trollheimshytta, Gjevilvasshytta and Jøldalshytta. They form a triangle that takes about 3-4 days to hike and is among the most famous and popular trekking routes in Norway. You don't have to do three day hikes though, you can drive to one of the three tourist cabins and take daily hikes from there enjoying a good sauna and good Norwegian food later at night. Enjoy!
