At the Monument Inn, located right at the Houston Ship Channel, expect to have a relaxing waterside meal that not only looks great, but tastes incredible, as well! While you will find many common items on the menu such as shrimp and oysters, there are also some rather unusual items on the menu, including fried alligator tail, en brochette (shrimp and oysterwrapped in bacon, then deep-fried), peaux boys and more. Don't discourage yourself at the thought of eating bite-sized bits of alligator tail before you try it... it's actually quite good! Five stars. [more] |
