Want to enjoy a Beach House without going to the beach? Yes, it is possible and that is the nice thing about it -- you don't have to go far to experience the tree shades, the nice wind, and the wonderful grilled food. Just head to UP's Sunken Garden and you'll find the famous Beach House, a quaint mini-restaurant that lets you enjoy your food outdoors. When I go there, I always order the yummy grilled meals, which you can pair with local appetizers. The price is not bad, too -- all food are valued at a student-friendly budget of 2USD. Better go there during sunny days though 'coz you don't want to get stuck in garden mud when your stomach's growling with hunger. [more] |
