Camps Bay, most beautiful beach in the Cape

 stars
This beach was really stunning, I loved everything about it, the golden soft sand, the views to the Twelve Apostles, the gorgeous blue water. The only 2 things that were a bit unpleasant: The constant wind and being constantly interrupted from my dreamy sleep with charity workers asking for donations or vendors selling sunglasses, handcraft souvenirs, etc. They did not even care if I had my headphones on an eyes closed. They kept calling loudly. Maybe the reason was that there were not many people on the beach so I become the main and possibly the only target. [more]

Spectacular beach in Western Cape

 stars
Camps Bay is one of the best beaches in Western Cape. I particularly like it as it is a superb area to go for dinner. The views of the Twelve Apostles mountain from the beach are always magnificent. This beach is very popular for tourists so you will also find many street sellers along the beach and the road. This beach looks like one of those beaches in the Caribbean with deep blue waters and golden-white sand. Although parking here is free but it is costume to pay a small tip to the woman or man that stand around the road. They are always very friendly so make you sure you tip as they will look after your car. [more]

Camps Bay beach, Cape Town, South Africa

 stars
This is often said to be one of the world's top beaches, so no surprise then that it is often full of European tourists. It is a really pretty place, nestled between the atlantic ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountains. Sunsets are truly spectacular here. It is possible to swim at Camps Bay, but the water is chilly, so be warned. I have also never heard of a shark attack here. In summer, it is often hard to find a place to sit down, it is so crowded, but generally it is a very nice place to go suntanning. Traders walk around selling ice cream and all kinds of snacks. Be careful with your valuables though, as there have been reported cases of theft. [more]
