Louis Tussaud's Waxworks
A huge, unmistakable building which dominates its particular area of the Blackpool promenade, nobody is going to struggle to locate Louis Tussaud’s Waxwork Museum. For Blackpool, the prices seem reasonable: at the time of writing in 2008, 2 people can get in for £16, 3 people for 23 and 4 people for £27. The museum does guarantee at least an hours entertainment – spanning across 4 floors. The basement contains the chamber of horrors and the second floor has recently opened a new Hollywood-themed spectacle. The reason for my awarding only three stars to the attraction is that I found myself getting bored of looking at Waxworks after a while. Aside from the waxworks and their short descriptions of the person they represent, there is nothing else on offer. [more] |
