Taste of Sicily
This is such a gem of a restaurant - in a way I wish they'd get a more spacious dining room, but I think that would take away some of the old-world charm. I expected this to be like every other American Italian restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised - the dishes were very much Mediterranean and authentic. Emphasis is on fresh ingredients, and nothing is very fussy or overdone. It's just good food in a simple atmosphere. I loved the wide variety of seafood choices, and in the end I had shrimp linguine, which was fantastic. The cheesecake was a wonderful mascarpone slice of heaven. Good service, great food. [more] |
