Meeting for a Swap
This place is a bargain shoppers dream come true. There is so much stuff here that you can get lost within the objects for hours without even realizing it…you’ll find anything from fashionable clothing, to blow horns, to martini glasses, to art work, to knock off sun glasses, to knives, to vintage jewelry, to mirrors, to books, to stereos and computers, to pretty much anything you can possibly want or imagine. There’s plenty of produce and flowers as well, and they are fresh. I remember I purchased these Cara-Cara oranges that were so juicy and sweet my mouth was already watering for the next piece and I wasn’t even finished chewing the first. I highly recommend arriving early for the best bargains…but don’t be quick in the purchase; I guarantee you can talk everyone down at least a few dollars, after all, that’s why it’s called a swap meet. Honestly I loved visiting this place…and could have easily purchased many different items, only there’s no way I could get half of them home on the plane. [more] |
