The Blue Bicycle
When my girlfriend and I took a week to visit York, we went to a beautiful little restaurant known as "The Blue Bicycle" for dinner. The place was pretty small, but it was definitely intimate and cozy, which set a perfectly romantic mood for us. We were given a private area to ourselves and we each ate fillet of Yorkshire beef with fondant potato, beetroot purée, red wine jus & a horseradish crisp for £22.00 each, which really wasn't all too bad, I thought, because the portion sizes here were more than generous, leaving us both full and content for the rest of the evening.
