La Bodeguita del Medio
La Bodeguita del Medio bar is so famous, that we couldn't resist to be the "proper" tourists and to visit it. Our friend gave us a great advice on reservation in advance and he was so right. We arrived at the reserved time and still had to wait for 30 minutes for our table. The bar chairs were full of waiting people so we were just breathing the air outside. Legendary Mojitos were a bit of a disappointment at the beginning, as they tasted just like a mint-water, but later when we ordered it with a specific old Rum, the taste became better and stronger. Food is quite expensive but the beef we've choisen was totally worth the price. Music was a bit loud and the crowd made lots of noise, but we didn't expect anything else from the touristic place and really enjoyed the evening. [more] |
