Northeast Harbor
This is a fun little town to walk around. Northeast Harbor is actually outside the national park, but once you leave this beautiful little harbor, you quickly re-enter Acadia National Park. The town is on a little peninsula of land that juts out int o the sea. My favorite place to walk is the cove on the north east side of town. The view of the harbor from the paved road is quite unique. There are also many shops and restaurants in the town center. [more] |
