When my husband and I returned to the beautiful city of Marseille, we spotted a quaint little cafe that was open for breakfast, called "Tarte Julie." Here, we were able to get a table for two with much ease and we ate croissants with cheese, marmalade, spreads and butter, salads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, omelettes -- the works! Oh, and tarts. Oh my goodness, their tarts are definitely their specialty! We ordered a few cherry, strawberry, blueberry and orange tarts to go and they were some of the sweetest, most delectible little creations I had ever eaten! For our meal, we paid around 20 euros for everything, and around 10 euros for two of each tart flavor. We'll definitely return. [more] |
