Great views over Port Louis
Fort Adelaide used to be a military fort so the building had a lack of charm comparing to other colonial buildings but it was a great place from where to enjoy fabulous views over Port Louis. They seem to organise concerts at this place but there was nothing going on during our time there. Moka mountains are always clearly visible from every part of Port Louis, but thanks to the vast clear space by Fort Adelaide here we could enjoy the impressive sight of the mountains. I would recommended a visit here without great expectation of the Fort. It is mainly worthy for the spectacular views. [more] |
