Convient Accommodation for Leeds University
I stayed at this bed and breakfast while attending a conference at Leeds University. I was really pleased at how close it was - probably less than a 5 minute walk. I was also pleased with the price, because, as a student, I'm on a really tight budget. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was large and refurbished quite modernly, and the breakfast had a good selection. The owner was available and helpful, but also gave you privacy if you wanted it. He makes cooked-to-order hot breakfasts for his guests, but there's a selection of cereals, toast and fruit available if you just want that. My only complaint was that it tended to be noisy at night. I had a single room right above the main entrance and heard people coming and going all through the night (it was a Saturday night, so I suspect there were a lot of parties/pub-outings). The owner has posted signs everywhere reminding people to be quiet, but it didn't seem to work. It was quiet on Thursday night, however, so I suspect that the weeknights go better than the weekends.
