If you love the good life, you better be open about enjoying its simplest joys. Once in a while, try the taste of modest eating hubs and you will see that they can be as great as the highly expensive ones. I love Aling Bitang’s for its very simple makeup. The open-air diner is along MacArthur Hi-way in Malolos, Bulacan. It is very famous to locals for its low-priced, delicious meals. I especially love its Tapsilog, and chicken barbecue meal. They could well be at par with classy restaurants in Manila but at a very low price. Your $2 would surely go a long way if you take it to Aling Bitang’s. And for a special bonus, each meal at Aling Bitang’s comes with a bowl of free, hot soup. [more] |
