A Market for all Seasons
If you are ever in Philadelphia, the Reading Terminal Market is an absolute must. It's like all the best farmer's markets in the world rolled into one (and indoors, so it's weather-proof!). You can get everything from home made chocolate, cookies, muffins, fresh meat and produce, kosher food, and even eggnog all year round. My favourite stall is the amish bakery right in the corner -- just follow the smell! At the back there are also a lot of stalls selling all kinds of knick knacks -- books, craft, household products, etc. Best of all, there's even a pub to kick back and enjoy a beer.
