I have always been enamored with books, and the different places they transport me to. But you have to admit, reading is a very expensive hobby especially if you are into literary fiction and famous classics. Imagine how I have felt when I first walked into a bargain bookshop that offers a wide range of books. Yes, such bookstore exists: Booksale! It offers a wide variety of books—from literature to dime romances, from coffee table books to references, from history to medicine, down to the very last popular comic book and magazine. It even has books you never thought existed. Booksale shops are present in almost all SM Malls as well as other popular malls all over the country. What I like most about Booksale is that I can spend hours scanning through the well-stocked shelves and come home with a very worthwhile addition to my own collection. Prices range from below one dollar up to $11 (or higher if the book is a limited copy.) Softbound books cost 100-500PHP, depending on their condition while the hardbound books cost not much higher than the softbound ones. I assure you, though, that no matter how low the price is, you will never find any tattered or torn book in any of their stores. [more] |
