Comfort Hotel
A really very good hotel, the Comfort Hotel makes a marvelous stop for any Memphis venturer. Our room had a beautiful view over the Mississippi River, absolutely stunning at all times of day. The rooms are well sized and well equipped. We had two double beds, TV, coffee maker, tea facilities, clean bathroom etc. Everything you'd expect from a mid range American Hotel, but with an exceptional view. The staff were also very friendly, and the Breakfast bar was a delight. Plenty of choice such as cereal, to gravy sausages, Waffles, yogurt, bread, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea etc etc. In the lobby was always fresh coffee and in the afternoon there were delicious cookies too! This hotel is very close to Memphis and most things are in walking distance, or for the less able the Tram is on the next corner. Very close by is Mud Island, the Fire Service Museum. Beale st is a 10 minute walk as is the Gibson Musuem. The Peabody Hotel with it's duck residents is about 5 mins away. Great hotel! [more] |
