Astarix: from a cafeteria to a restaurant
When you go to Trier, and you want to eat something nice, but still affordable, I think Astarix is the right place to go. I was in Trier again last month, and we were searching for something not too expensive. Julian (a good friend of us) recommended going to Astarix. It is located just 10 meters away from the City Hall. So, it is not very difficult to find. What they offer in Astarix are pizzas, casseroles, spaghetti, and so on. The coolest thing about Astarix is that you can pick any kinds of vegetables or meat in your food. For example if you like tuna or chicken or ham, then you can add them into your pizza. The casserole costs about 5 Euro to 8 Euro. I heard from Julian, Astarix was actually a student cafeteria and at that time it was called Astar. And after they changed it into a restaurant, they named it Astarix. [more] |
