Tarragona Cathedral
Tarragona cathedral is one of the greatest Romanesque cathedrals in Catalunya. Its interior is very dark and it is very cold inside, but I definitely felt that I am in an ancient building full of history. Unfortunately there is no place from where one can see the whole cathedral – it is among very densely built houses and even the square in front of it is somehow small. Compared to the Cathedral of Barcelona the one in Tarragona is actually bigger and older, and there is no entrance fee (while in Barcelona they charge you 5-6 euros for entering the cathedral) [more] |
