Convenient location and great food
As the name suggests, the NH Vienna Airport is across the road from the airport. It is very conveniently located for stopovers and I stayed there a number of times (each time it had a different name, as it kept on changing management). Last time I stayed there, the room I had was nothing special, but comfortable and functional. It had a damp smell in it though; I am not sure where it came from. The buffet dinner at additional cost was really good (sorry, we did not pay for it, as we were expecting someone to come and direct us where to pay and no one did) and the breakfast was excellent, as well (the breakfast was included in the room rate). They had a fantastic selection of breads, which was a real treat – nice European bread is hard to find in Australia. I am planning to stay at the NH again on my next trip with Austrian Airlines.
