Aroma Cafe is my haven
Aroma Cafe on Raymond Street in Springwood, NSW, Australia is my favourite hangout. It is a small place but has big atmosphere. The old owners always knew who you were and what you ordered. I use to throw her and order a latte once in awhile, she would give it to me. There are several tables inside, but I like to sit outside on the sidewalk and watch the world go by. Charles Ford is the new owner and he is just as friendly. Always has a smile and willing to go the extra mile. He is hoping to set up wireless internet inside as a further service for customers. They are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm, Saturday only open until 2:30 and closed on Sunday. Charlie hasn’t got all the machines yet, but is hoping to be able to offer eftpos and credit card options soon. The menu is light with salads and sandwiches. There are always cakes to have with your coffee, and specials listed out front. Mains run from $5.20 to $10.80 and desserts from $3.50 to $5.00. The kid’s menu is Fairy Princess meal and Skata Boy meals for $5.00. They are sandwiches and a milkshake. There are colouring and crayons for entertainment and the greatest family friendly place to go. I have seen kids putting on skits with singing and dancing for the whole crowd and loving the attention. They are not licensed, are on the bus line and is just the most relaxing environment I have found in the area. There is a magazine rack in the front for a nice read with your coffee too.
