Corregidor is in Cavite; not Bataan
Corregidor is an island of entrance of the Manila Bay in the Philippines. Corregidor served as battle headquarters of Manila during the World War II. Because of its location, this was considered as one of the last forts of the Philippine forces against Japanese invaders. When I was in Corregidor, I get to ride on those manually designed jeepneys that would tour us around the place. I get to see the barracks or the place where the soldiers stayed in; there were also famous last words of Philippines’ heroes, and my favorite part is seeing and touching the real canyon used by our soldiers. I had fun taking some photos of myself with one of the most historic place in the Philippines. Plus Corregidor trip also offers a good eating place, when I was there I pigged myself out, experiencing Corregidor’s buffet. [more] |
