Lighted Christmas Parade
I had the fortune of being in Lynden during their annual lighted Christmas parade. This is quite a spectacle to see and is sure to please young and old alike. All of the children near me were very excited and enjoyed the parade very much. Their parents, in spite of the cold, also seemed to enjoy the parade. Depending on the year, you can see everything from lighted gingerbread houses to Santa Claus, to the Nativity Scene. No matter what the year, you are sure to see a number of festively lit trucks and tractors. This is a nice treat for the Christmas holiday. Be sure to dress warmly. It can get a bit cold standing around watching the parade go by.
The festival takes place in December, prior to the Christmas holiday. Contact the local chamber of commerce for exact dates and times. [more]
