Besides the cold weather, and ridge that faces Taal lake, the Mahogany market is the best pod for shopping that one can find in the city. Tagaytay prides itself in having leisure farms, organic crops, and the best quality meat and if you want a taste of everything, then Mahogany Market is the place. If you are left hungry while shopping for your dinner, you can take an early session with the different stalls of "bulalo" - boiled beef - at the side entrance. In many ways, these stalls are the mum and pop diners that can provide the local flavor in Tagaytay dishes. They are relatively cheap too.
