Kreis 8 is without doubt my favourite district because it is situated near the lake and is comprised of the most peaceful neighbourhoods in Zurich – Riesbach and Seefeld. Apart from the lakeshore area and the Botanical Gardens, there are not many tourist attractions to speak of here but I would still recommend anyone to pay a visit. I lived in Seefeld for six months and really came to love the neighbourhood, its people, shops, and restaurants, and the beautiful lakeside park Zurichhorn which is a terrific spot to be during warm summer days.
