I'll never forget 23 Restaurant; it was the first restaurant we visited while in Sheffield and we just so happened to make it here on time for lunch and they were quite busy, really, but that didn't stop us from dining here. Why? For one, the place looked great, very modern and clean, and we had been recommended to eat here previously, not to mention that we were starving after our drive. I ordered a chicken sandwich with mayo that apparently had lemon in the mixture -- odd, though tasty -- along with a salad and fries (chips, for you Brits). The sandwich was fairly large and there were quite a few fries, and the salad was a bit on the small side, but it was a nice touch to the meal, I'll admit. Including my beverage, my entire meal was no more than 7£, a great deal for such high quality and so much. Needless to say, I'll be returning. [more] |
