Jamison Restaurant at Yorks is delightful dining
Jamison’s Restaurant at York’s Fairmont Resort in Leura, NSW, Australia is a great place to take the family for dinner or to relax from a day of adventure.
The food is wonderful and displayed on the buffet in grand fashion with such a wide variety to offer every taste and need. They have vegetarian selections and will offer halal certified meals if requested when reservations are made.
They are fully licenses, have a lift for wheelchair and pram access, highchairs for the little ones, and colouring to entertain the kids while waiting. They have great Yulefest activities too. Santa comes to visit the kids, bon bons are on every table and Christmas meals just like at home. On school holidays there is a chocolate fountain for the kids to dip marshmallows and goodies for a delightful treat.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly. There are wonderful views of the Jamison Valley from the windows to enjoy while you dine. There are walking paths around the grounds and bushtrails from the 14th tee of the golf club if you are up for some walking after your meal.
Adult lunch is $40, ages 11-14 $22, ages 5-10 $2 per year and 0-4 are free. For dinner the buffet is $48.50 for adults and same price for kids. There are also small items offered if you do not wish to join the buffet.
Outside the restaurant is the bar with a beautiful stone fireplace to sit around for after dinner cocktails. There is a small shop for items by the reservations desk too. Take a stroll around the resort halls and see the lovely paintings from local artists.
They are open 7:30-10:30 for brekkie, 12:00 to 2:30 for lunch, and dinner on the weekends from 6:00-10:30. Dinners are open during the week for school holidays and depending on booking needs of resort patrons. Please make a reservation to be sure there is room the day of your visit.

We went here for dinner during Yulefest. It was my first experience with the Australian holiday. It was a great time and there was so much food. I would have loved to sampled it all.
My husband and son are stewards here for this restaurant and the fine dining restaurant, Eucalypts; so I know the chefs and staff. They are a great bunch of people and the head chef strives to make the best possible experience for all who grace the doorway. [more ]
