Elize Bar
If you come to the Philippines, never judge too quickly. Wait until you have experience the place before you say anything. Especially when you see Elize Bar, you’ll see in its facet what a typical resto bar is—with blinking Christmas lights and red-tinted pin lights. Yes, the place isn’t as high-end as you want it to be, but its menu and prices are just the ones you’re looking for. A package order containing six bottles of beer and two different kinds of finger foods cost only around US$3. You can also trust your orders to save your pockets because most packages can serve five people already. For those who have come not to drink but to simply satisfy their hunger, Elize Bar offers other beverages and a la carte dishes like “tapsilog” (a rice meal served with beef and egg) and “adobo.” But, what I like most about that place is its karaoke machine. I could spend all night belting out song after song and not worry about having to disturb the neighbors because the sound system is really good. It doesn’t have any fragmented and ear-numbing effects, and the over-all acoustic setting of the place makes you think that you are, for a night, a diva. Truly an extraordinary resto bar experience, Elize Bar is worth a visit if you happen to be in Quezon City. By the way, it’s open from Monday to Sunday until 1:00 in the morning. [more] |
