Opus; a nice number stars

Opus has a pleasant ambiance, good food, and they provide a stage for live gigs and karaoke nights every so often. Winning points already.
My first impression of Opus was an ‘Oh no, it’s another one of those swank, wannabe joints that is going to attract wannabe artsy-fartsies who will clink glasses and indulge in pretentious conversation’. Maybe it was, but eventually, the open air, low seating under palm trees (meant to create a Goan atmosphere) and the fact that they encourage live music so fervently, grew on me. The final kudos of course, come with the good, good, food and drink. [more]
