Munich in Milwaukee
The Old German Beer Hall is an outstanding authentic Bavarian beer hall experience. Maybe authentic may not be a great word choice…after all, I don’t think I’ve seen any other German establishments have a stump sitting in the corner of the room where patrons pound nails in…loser not only loses their pride, but buys the next round. However, they do feature the beers of the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, so you can expect a tasty beer. They range from lagers to darks and weisses. It also includes one-third, half and full steins, as well as boots! The food is fantastic, offering snack items like pretzels and German style meats such as bratwurst, knockwurst, and carved corned beef sandwiches. And for entertainment, see a polka band play on Friday nights. This place is always a lot of fun and is a destination spot in Milwaukee! [more] |
