Yaka Park - perfect relaxing day out!
The Yaka Park, situated approximately 25 Km from Fethiye, is a trout farm built in natural surroundings and located high up in the hills surrounded by beautiful open countryside. The park consists of an old watermill and stream, where you can pet and play with the fish and select which one you would like for lunch. The park is a perfect tranquil haven and you can relax and chill out in a tree house or hammock. There are numerous places to sit and unwind and enjoy the tasty trout specialities on offer. I recommend the locally produced pomegranate sauce to accompany your fish treat. The bar houses an inbuilt narrow stream and the trout are free to swim in circles around the bar, which is fascinating to watch. There is also a Turkish lady making traditional pancakes, which are delicious. [more] |
