Forbidden City Restaurant
Located inside the Park Plaza mall of Little Rock, you'll be pleasantly surprised once you step in here. I've heard this place defined as "one minute you're surrounded by The Gap and Chick Filet and then suddenly you're in a quiet Asian oasis." While the restaurant itself is a bit aged, the art and colours of the decor are still just as relaxing as ever. The service here, like at many other Chinese restaurants, is nothing short of great. The waiters, waitresses and other staff members have always been very polite and able to make me comfortable and relaxed, almost as if I were at home, rather than a mall restaurant. The prices here aren't too bad, ranging anywhere between $5.25 to $9.95, and the food is pretty good, too, although I wouldn't define it as the best I've ever had (that would be Panda House in Lonoke or Benihana's). You can also have food delivered to your door for no extra charge at all if you don't feel like braving Park Plaza mall. [more] |
