Multicultural Linden Mitte
Linden Mitte is a very multicultural area in Hannover. You can get any kinds of food or goods you want like: Asian (Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Thai, Indonesian, and etc), Middle Eastern (Turkish, Persian, or Arab) and Western of course. Linden Mitte is pretty big, and also with grand green park. Linden Mitte is also known as the “green area” in Hannover for the big parks every where. I literally have walked a lot in Linden Mitte and still there are some places I’ve not seen. People in Linden Mitte are from every where. Besides different kind of shops, there are also a lof nice restaurants from different countries. I like Kabuki Phung a lot (Japanese-Vietnamese restaurant), and also Tandure (Turkish restaurant), or Azzuro van Hilten's and more other nice restaurants that I can’t type all of the names here. Not mention to the fashion boutiques or shops, you can buy from a second-hand shops until a very expensive self-design boutiques. There is also traditional market on particular occasions. I went to one in December, close to Christmas. The main station in Markt Platz is also very unique, the statue in front of the main station stands proudly and makes the whole place just different from other places in Linden Mitte. I found some nice churches / cathedrals when I wandered around Linden Mitte. I found a very nice 2nd-hand fashion shop, but too bad it was closed and I really want to go back there again. I’ve spent 2 times New Year in Linden Mitte, Hannover and I still love it and want to celebrate another New Year again. In Aachen, we don’t have trams, but in Hannover trams are every where even in Linden Mitte. That makes you more convenient to explore Linden Mitte! [more] |
