The City Hall
The City Hall of Brasov can be found right in the center of the city, in the main square named Piata Sfatului. You can't miss the building, as it is painted in yellow and white and it has a very high tower. It was built during the 13th century, but its main function was that of a watch tower. During the next two centuries the inhabitants of the area have expanded the building, adding new parts and so it came to be the Town Hall of Brasov in the 15th century. The city also grew a lot, but this building never lost its function. It hosts the City's museum too, which I have visited as well. It's all right, but definitely not a must-see. [more] |
