White Water, Branson

5.0 stars

White River

Now this place is actually pretty darned cool, you have to admit, whether you're an adult or still a kiddo.

White Water offers eleven attractions to play around on, including my favourite, the Surfquake Wave Pool. It holds five hundred thousand gallons of water, meaning it's HUGE for everyone to play in and still have plenty of room to yourself without having to worry about bumping into some random stranger. It sounds pretty normal, right?

Think again. Whenever you hear a bell ringing while you're in here, beware. Four-foot waves rise out of nowhere, sending everyone literally everywhere. It's great fun if you don't like huge slides.

If you DO like slides, though, the ultimate challenge awaits here with their newest attraction called "Kalani Towers." From what I've heard, it's at least seven and a half stories tall at three hundred feet, making it the ultimate freefall slide as you glide down at an average of forty miles per hour.

They're a bit pricey, but if you're in the area quite a bit, it's surely worth it. [more ]
