The Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh

My husband and I, and a couple of our friends, spent a whole day in Pittsburgh to do a tour of the University of Pittsburgh in Oakland, grab a quick bite at the nearby Pan-Asian restaurant Lulu’s Noodles, and even eventually make our way downtown to stop by the famous Strip District to grab a hot cup of java at La Prima. It was a cold, clear day perfect for walking around and taking in the sites. Our first stop was at the Cathedral of Learning, part of the University of Pittsburgh’s campus. It is a magnificent Gothic tower housing classrooms decorated to represent different countries and learning traditions around the world. [more]
