Mexican food sort of… but still good
Las Margaritas is in a nice building and very easy to find, it also has good service and good food with prices that aren’t totally out of this world. All of that said and I find myself wondering why it is one of the few Vancouver restaurants that has sank into obscurity for me. The whole time I was in Vancouver it never really changed that much and seems a perfectly lovely place. I’m sure if you went you would have a pretty good meal in a nice environment. Maybe it’s because Vancouver’s dining out scene is so competitive that I never really feel compelled to go. With all of that said there are several new places in town that I’ve been dying to try while being away. Las Margaritas is on 4th Avenue in Kitsilano; if you’re coming from Burrard it’s a couple blocks up on the right. I think last time I was there I spent around twenty dollars – I usually get beer when I eat Mexican – just sort of seems to go together; and one beer can often lead to a few more, at most places in Vancouver that can be an expensive proposition, so be warned.
