Pizzeria Dvojka
A few friends of mine and myself got into a habit of having a pizza before or after going to the Broadway Tkalca multiplex cinema. And pizzeria Dvojka was on our way. I have been going there for years now and their pizzas are truly excellent. There are also a number of pasta and meat dishes available. If you fancy a take out, that can be arranged as well. It is open from 9am till 1am, so if you are feeling peckish after a few drinks, but do not fancy McDonalds, this is the place to go. Croatians do not have much of a habit of eating out, however if you are on a budget and fancy a bite, pizzerias are the most popular places, as you are really getting a value for your money. I cannot recount the number of times we went to Dvojka and ordered a jumbo pizza, almost fainting when it was brought to the table from the sheer size of it, however almost every time there was not a bite left after we were done. Pizzeria Dvojka is situated in Nova Ves 2, a short walk from the Zagreb’s main square and the Cathedral. Right down the road is Kaptol centar, with numerous shops, cafes and cinema. [more] |
