.San Marco Square
The San Marco square is probably the most important place of gathering for all the inhabitants of Venice and of course, for all the tourists. In the early morning, the square is empty, but a little bit later you already see it full of tourists taking pictures and walking from one corner of the plaza to the other. The atmosphere is great and I must say that I prefered being in the square at noon than in the morning. There were several street performers, most of them playing instruments.
