The City Museum
The City Museum is located at King's Hall in Grand place. The museum opened up in 1887 and it started as a rather small collection that was housed on second floor, however as the time passed the collection has grown into what it is today a detailed history of the city of Brussels. You can admire the tapestries, altar pieces, some paintings while on the second floor you can admire the miniature models that will give you a better idea how the city developed over the years. On 3rd floor you can see the collection of Manneken Pis outfits that has more then 600 items. Opening hours are Tue to Fri from 10:00am until 5:00pm, closed on Mondays. [more] |
