Clock Tower stars

The Clock Tower is one of Sighisoara's main tourist attraction. It is one of the oldest buildings in town and therefore one of the most impressive. Its initial function was that of place for municipal meetings and it also served as the entrance gate to the town of Sighisoara.The tower was initially built somewhere in the 14th century, but it was unfortunately destroyed several times, because of fires and riots. What we get to see today is the last construction, dating from 1894, which has preserved its initial style. I liked climbing inside the tower, even if I'm a bit claustrophobic. It hosts the town's museum, which I didn't find very interesting, but it's worth seeing once you're there. [more]
