Grace, located at 7360 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, is described by its diners as a “classy New American establishment.” It is well-known for its superb wine list and very knowledgable, unpretentious servers.
The dining room itself is high-ceilinged and is warmed by rich, dark woods and glowing light fixtures. It’s quite beautiful, really, if not just simply elegant to some.
There are two choices here for you for the menu styles: tasting or Prix Fixe (prefixed, so to speak). If you go with the Prix Fixe, which I highly recommend, expect perfectly-sized appetizers such as warm chickpea salad, a duo of beef tartare and beef carpaccio. As for the main dish, when I came here, I was given succulent wild boar tenderloin, but on the second time coming here, braised pork shank. If you’re a vegetarian, there’s pink peppercorn-crusted tofu available. [more ]
