Spaccanapoli, an Italian pizza in Central London
London is the most cosmopolitan city in Europe and it boasts a countless number of typical restaurants.
On Friday night I ended up in a cosy Italian style pizza-place in Dean Street, on the right side of Oxford Street, leaving Oxford Circus on the back. Approaching the restaurant you smell an unmistakably pizza and there you'll see a shy entrance.
Have a seat, make yourself comfortable and start tackling the menu. Order the pizza you feel closer to your tastes and rest assured that you won't be disappointed.
You will find a big choice so it'll take you a while to decide, but at the end you'll be rewarded. Crispy, well-cooked, big and with the right balance of ingredients.
I had a pizza with rocket, parma ham and parmisan but instead of the normal mozzarella I asked for the renowned "mozzarella di bufala" and the result was aphrodisiac.
I recommend "Spaccanapoli" to anybody that likes the real Italian pizza. [more ]
