Vantaa airport on Christmas Eve
Traveling on Christmas Eve in Europe is not so much fun, especially if you have late night flights. We had an evening flight from Vantaa Helsinki, but everything was already closed there, so we couldn't have any snack, drink, I am not talking about dinner...It is quite disappointing, because we expected more from a European capital airport. There was also a problem with buses, they were not so frequent as normally. So next time when we're flying on Christmas Eve we're definitely eating good in advance or taking some food with us. Just in general it is a nice airport, but we couldn't enjoy any Travel Value shopping either. [more] |
