Franc Liszt Statue in Pecs
While in Pecs, I believe one place that you most likely would not want to miss to go to is the St. Pierre Cathedral; however, before you reach and go inside the cathedral, look further to your left side, there is another heritage building built in 1838-1852; however, I am not talking about the building here, instead, just next to the building, you will find a fairly interesting statue of a man figure leaning his head to a side and he is standing on the balcony of the second floor of the building. Wearing a grand robe (made of metal obviously), his holding the fence of the balcony and right in front of him there are some metal-made leaves wrapped around the balcony. This is the statue of Franc Liszt, the famous Hungarian composer and considered to be another tourist attraction of Pecs. [more] |
