Museum of Archeology
My classmates and I visited the Museum of Archeology in Varna and all of us were really impressed. The museum is pretty big and it comprises many different exhibitions. It mainly deals with archaeological discoveries on the territory of Bulgaria, mainly in the area of Varna and on the coast. The most interesting items on display are some gold objects, estimated to be 6000 years old. There are many gold items, mostly jewelry and decorative objects. The oldest are really worth seeing. Make sure you don't miss them. Apart from those, there are also many wooden and stone items dating from Roman times, as well as religious paintings. I think it's a great tourist attraction. [more] |
