Pinkas synagogue

Pinkas synagogue is located at Široká 3. It was the work of Horowitz family.

In 1535. Horowitz has it built right next to the Old Cemetery. After the World War II Pinkas synagogue has a permanent exhibition and a memorial to all the Jews of Bohemia and Moravia that died during World War II. You can find pictures and drawings of jewish children that were held and murdered in concentration camps, while on the walls you can find names of all the victims (77.297 of them), with their personal data and which communities they have belonged to.
