GameStop Inc.
GameStop offers new and used consoles, video games, accessories and the occasional toy for your everyday gamer. They offer things for X-Box, X-Box 360, PlayStation 1, 2 and 3, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, Wii, all GameBoys and even Nintendo 64, all at some of the best prices in town. I worked here when I was sixteen for about four months and I can say that over time, this place has just gotten better and better, even after I stopped working here. I know the staff members here personally and while they're all geeky, that's their job, and trust me, they know what they're talking about, not to mention that they're all generally friendly. McCain Mall's GameStop Inc.
While I worked at another GameStop that was located just a couple of miles away, this one is only more popular due to the fact that it's located in the mall. This GameStop's mall outlet is rather small, making it an often crowded place with generally kids, teens and college students along with the occasional mother or father looking for a last-minute birthday present. Although crowded, they DO offer quite a bit, but I've noticed that their prices are set a bit higher here, if by just a dollar or two, which many folks fail to notice, an unfortunate thing for them, but a small goldmine for the corporation. This outlet, unlike its brother location just a few miles down the road, does not offer some of the larger consoles as used products, nor do they offer movie rentals. Three stars, though. [more] |
